To say I have a little honeysuckle growing around the house would be an understatement. Some people find it to be a nusance. I admit it does tend to take over and spread like wildfire. I just can't help but love it though. Every time I go outside I smell the lovely delicate blooms that have come with Spring. I got to thinking about what I could possibly make with honeysuckle vines.
I cut a bunch of vines. Some of the vines had flowers and some didn't.
I dumped everything on the kitchen table and got to work.
Carefully, I formed a long vine into a circle.
Then I continued to add more vines, weaving them in the wreath....
until the wreath looked full.
I added a simple bow.
Now I can enjoy the fragrant honeysuckle indoors.
Oh those flowers are fantastic! I'd love to have them growing around my house! And what a brilliant idea to make them into a wreath!
