Dollar Store Personalized Paper Weight

I found myself wandering the isles of Dollar Tree because Mr.Perfect was at the AT&T store (I do not like the AT&T store. It's torture to me... like going to a car dealership.)

I saw this super tacky glass paperweight that looked like it had some potential.

The butterfly picture peeled off the back of the paperweight very easily.

I found a sweet picture of Trouble and my dad fishing. I thought it would look great in place of the butterfly.

The butterfly fit perfectly over the picture. I traced it and then cut it out.

A few clear mounting squares on the butterfly helped hold my picture in place.

Next I added a few more clear mounting squares to the front of the picture and attached the picture to the back of the paper weight.
A boy and his Papa fishing.
This will make a great Father's Day gift!
