I thought it would be interesting to try them as pops. Trouble can take them to school as an alternative to passing out birthday cupcakes. Check out my recipe for Oreo truffles.
Once you've made the balls insert a lollipop stick half way into each ball. If you insert the stick too far into the ball it will go all the way through the ball (you don't want that to happen).
Put all of the balls with lollipop sticks in the freezer for about 5-10 minutes.
While the balls are chillin' melt some chocolate. (I'm using almond bark)
Carefully dip the ball into the melted chocolate. Don't worry if the ball falls off the stick, just dip the end of the stick into the chocolate and put it back in it's original hole (like glue). Let any excess chocolate drip off the ball.
Sprinkle some fun sprinkles on the pop while the chocolate is still shiny.
Allow the pops to harden. (I stuck them in some floral foam)
I think my 8 year old self would have LOVED these for my birthday!
I packaged them up for easy transport and passing out at school.
It's a bucket of balls.

I would just love these little treasures and we have little ones that would to. It is a great recipe. Thank you so much for sharing with Full Plate Thursday and hope to see you next week!

I'm kind of embarrassed to admit this but I have never had an oreo truffle! I must change that soon! These look delicious - what a fun treat for the season!
