Flat Creek Winery

My Bestie and I made a trip out to Flat Creek Estate Vineyard and Winery in the Texas Hill Country to enjoy a morning of yoga, chocolate, wine, and wonderful food.

The winery is beautiful, complete with picturesque rolling hills that give you the feel of the Tuscan countryside, not Central Texas.

Holli Beckwith led us in an hour of relaxing yoga, followed by a sample of her homemade chocolate with a promise of more chocolate to come.

Madelyn Naber, who owns Flat Creek along with her husband, invited us into their 'Port Room' to sample more homemade chocolate paired with three of Flat Creek's delicious wines. Yes, more chocolate... and wine.

We decided to give their bistro a try, as I've heard good things about the food. Their menu was filled with creative dishes that I would never have expected to find at a bistro in the middle of nowhere.
Axis Chili
Fancy Cheese Steak

We left Flat Creek Winery with happy hearts & full tummies, relaxed and ready to face the world again.

If you happen to be in the Austin area, stop by Flat Creek Estate Vineyard and Winery. It's a lovely place to go with your BFF or significant other!
