Another Use for Vinegar

Heinz Distilled White Vinegar 16oz
Today I found a towel on Trouble's playscape. I have no idea how long the towel was out there but it smelled like it had been out there since Halloween. Unfortunately Luckily I deal with a lot of stinky towels during the summer. Between the pool and lake, some towel always ends up being wadded up in a ball and left to ripen to a musty mess.

To de-stink towels or any laundry for that matter, try vinegar. It's not just for your pancakes!
Simply pour your normal laundry detergent in the wash.
Then pour in 1/2 to 1 cup of vinegar.

Wash laundry as you normally do.

Also: Try adding a cup of vinegar into your washing machine and run it through a normal cycle without clothes.  This will freshen up the washing machine, clean the hoses, and unclog soap scum.

*note*
Check your laundry for stains and remove them first, as vinegar may set them.
Wash like colors together.

  1. Vinegar is especially helpful in a front loading machine since it uses little water.
