What you need:
- about 15 tomatillos, husks removed, washed and halved
- 2 green onions
- 1/2 cup cilantro
- juice from half of a lime
- 1-2 jalapeno peppers, stemmed (remove seeds to cut heat)
- 1 garlic clove
- salt to taste
Place halved tomatillos on a foil lined cookie sheet.
Place under broiler until the tops of the tomatillos become charred. (about 10 minutes)
Toss the charred tomatillos and next five ingredients in the blender or food processor, pulse until all ingredients are finely chopped. Season to taste with salt.
