I'm sure there are some other moms out there making costumes for their child's 'Bugz' musical at school. I volunteered to make a few costumes, one of which is a spider.
Each bug costume consists of a black t-shirt that we were to design the costume around.
Using fabric paint I drew a spider web on the front of the shirt. (I used tulip brand: crystal sparkles)

I grabbed a black visor from the craft store for $1 and hot glued on six googly eyes. To make the legs I cut out eight strips of black fabric and hot glued them to the underside of the visor. When I say hot glue... I mean hotter than lava on the sun glue. (I burned myself with the glue)
Here's Trouble modeling the spider costume.
Oh what a tangled web we weave...
