What you need:
- 1/4 cup mineral oil or olive oil (I used mineral oil)
- 4 tablespoons distilled vinegar
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- spray bottle
What you do:
Mix all ingredients in a measuring cup.
Pour into a spray bottle.
Don't forget to label the bottle. Shake before each use. Place any unused cleaner in the refrigerator. (the lemon juice can go bad)
I used the cleaner throughout the house today.
Here's a before & after of a window sill with a water spot.
I'm so not going back to Pledge or Endust.

Great idea! I gotta try this. Btw, your dollar store flower basket project has been featured in my Sunday Linky this week! Check it out here :)

What a great tip. I am starting to have my kids help me more around the house and this would be great for them to use as I don't want to use to many chemicals around them.
ReplyDeleteGREAT tip. I'm allergic to so many store cleaners.
ReplyDeleteUsed it today on my Ikea wood furniture and the results were amazing. Thank you!!!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I used some vanilla scented oil instead of olive oil to add some nice scent to the furniture and it worked fine
